aeroforce scan gauge if you can afford it. It's worth it from what I hear.

Aeroforce is awsome. No oil pressure or A/F reading, but the other 24 readings (including KR) are well worth the money.

2 readings the PCM doesn't give you.

Oil Pressure and Fuel Pressure.

There are others but for diagnosing problems in the future, you may need the FP gauge.

Some people like to know the Trans temp... If you're into towing, or steep grades on a regular basis, you may opt for that along with a trans cooler.

The A/F ratio is cool to watch, but I still don't understand the need for it. I've never seen anyone ask "My A/F gauge is showing odd readings, what should I do?" Obviously there are steps to take, but typically the PCM throws a code before there are problems noticed on the gauge.

vacuum/boost!
I like watching it. It doesnt matter if you're not using boost... its an exact indicator of your engine load.

In my 3-gauge pod I have aeroforce, electronic oil pressure, and mechanical vac/boost.
Oil pressure is so I know when my engine is screwed. vac/boost is a necessity with my supercharger. aeroforce is just a must-have for techies like myself (and helps rough-tuning).

the A/F is worthless, all the way. your ratio is always changing. its basically the same thing as a narrowband rich-lean gauge, which just sees if your O2 is reading low, or high, then it just jumps all over the place and means nothing.
Your PCM uses this information by finding the average of lows-highs to determine how the fuel is burning (should it richen it up or lean it out).
This gauge has no worth. If you had a wideband O2, it would be worth it, but you dont.

I wouldve like to get fuel pressure, but A) I'm not comfortable with a pressurized gas line inside the car. the alternative would be B) the electronic sending unit... but its over $200. forget it.

I still highly recommend the aeroforce. Theres a few used ones on clubgp for under 200 I think. Definetly worth it. Save up.
