Can someone Pleaseee tell Me, how come those Struts are even considered suitable replacement? I have install those struts after concluding that I needed new ones, because of the way the car would react after hitting a pot-hole or other. But, I was Terribly disappointed after spending money on those.
However, I can't even find some decently priced ones...without getting into some truly expensive types. As a matter of fact, it seems that not many companies, (Including U.S. Companies)regards the G.P. as a Car worthy of Serious Upgrades & Performance Parts...it's really hard to find Performance Parts for this Car...I really Love My 2000 GTP (Greatest Design Ever) & I would like to Preserve it, & have it Perform at it's Best. I haven't had any major mechanical problems...but, searching & acquiring Performance Parts is a Fruitless, Efforts.
Or, am I just looking in all the wrong Places...Any suggestion?

I don't like them personally, but good struts are going to cost a bit. Some performance places to hit up... www.zzperformance.com www.thewbodystore.com www.pfyc.com www.3800performance.com

Ebay seems to have the best prices for KYBs; as for not being able to find performance parts, sounds like you've been looking in the wrong places.. Have a look at the vendor's list on Herc's site: GP Vendors

The Kybs are only like a 10% ungrade to the stock struts. Its not like you are replacing the old ones with GOLD!, just some Kybs.

I have KYB's and love them. I've been putting them on just about every vehicle I've owned, and I'll put them on my next one.

did you replace the springs? If you didnt, that may be why your ride quality isnt as nice as expected.

The problem may not be with the KYB's it may well be that your stock springs are shot and replacement struts will not cure this problem ,there are better options for struts the KYB AGX's or Koni's if you can find them, but the KYB's have a decent reputation as replacement OEM quality struts you want better be prepared to fork over some serious cash.Chico(pops)

good luck, im a whole sale dealer of kyb, koni, tokico, eibach, h&r just to name a few. i went to get some agx's thoes xxxxxx are like $600 for a set.. the hell with that! i had some intrax springs on my car, it caused a pogo real bad, and i took them off after about a month.. also any who want them $100 takes them!! but i replaced my struts with gr2's they seem ok, but i really wanted the koni coilovers that will never be available for our cars. at sema i spoke with a guy from koni, they said that they wont be making them for our cars anylonger, i guess the deal with GM that they made years ago fell thru. GM wa asking around $2200 for a set of decent coilovers.. so the gr2 is a decent replacement, but dont expect performance. edited for language please read the sticky about language on this forum.

Hey There...Thank You all for all the useful 411. Finding some of those Site, really made Me feel like there is Still some Hope for what I consider the Greatest Designed GP, Ever!
Personally, I haven't had any major problem with the car, just simple & expected wear. Some problems with the windows...but, She is a True Performer, with Her 3800 & Supercharger which I will Update with some Performance Parts, now that I have found some of the Site You listed. It will Definitely help Me Transform Her into a "Real Performing Beast"...and, that shouldn't take much work, or $$$ besides 50-65 is the Speed Limit, Right?
She is a Keeper...

the koni's are no longer available...
koni setup a thing with GM, and GM was selling them for so much $$ it was crazy. meanwhile they would get them for around $500 cheaper. the crazy thing is, our cars along with i believe the Monte carlo, is the ONLY ones in the book who the are GM only.
And from what a rep said at SEMA, they were going to discontinue the product..
AGX's are way overrated, I wish tokico was available for GP's

Mpulse there is nothing wrong with the Intrax springs I really like the stiff ride and nice lowering just find a strut that works with them ,I am currently useing the comp G struts and anti-pogo washers with good succes (no pogo).Chico(pops)
