I own a 1997 GTP with out 75,000 miles on it. The other day I went to go pass a car and when the supercharger kicked in, the emergency brake light went on. It stayed on for about 30-40 seconds and then turned off. I stoped the car and made sure the e-brake wasnt on and it wasnt. It still does it. There is no noise as to it hurting the car. Anyone have any ideas as to what the problem is or how to fix it?
thanks

Check the condition of your brake pads.
Worn brake pads=lower brake fluid level.
Low brake fluid level=brake warning light

Don't just add brake fluid without checking the condition of the pads.

The brakes were replaced 5K ago with lifetimepads, the brakefluid was also filled at same time and level is fine now. Does anyone else have any siggestions? Do you think it is just an electrical thing? DO you think its serious and should be taken to a mech right away?

check your fluid again.. It has to be low fluid.
