When it's time for a spark plug change, how does one go about "rotating" the engine forward to get to the back plugs?

remove the front two engine mounts (the ones over the radiator) I then use a strap attach one end to the rear lifting bracket and the other to the radiator support and sinch it down till the motor moves forward about 3 inches. This gives you just enough room to get to the rear plugs. You might wanna change your O2 sensor while your at it. Since it's right there. Also be prepared to replace your wires at the same time as the old ones will be a PITA to remove and you just might damage them.

I was told to take off the engine dog bone mounts and then rock your car in neutral, and when its at its peak, hit the e-brake, and the engine should stay there

There are several ways to do it.
I just unbolt the dogbones(2 bolts) and pull on the SC snout. This allows me to slide the front dogbone bolt into the extra hole in the motor mount. Piece 'o cake.
Once you've done it a few times, you forget about rocking the engine alltogether. Plugs can easily be changed without rocking the engine(after a bit of experience). I've changed my plugs a dozen times, and other cars, just as many, if not more. I think I even changed my O2 sensor without rocking the engine forward.

Later now,
Clint

My method is for those who are all by them selves. If you have two people the parking brake trick works as well.

I didn't slide a bolt into that extra hole.

Is that bad?
