How do you do this? Something about pulling a tan and blue wire from the passenger fuse box?
detailed help would be great!

pull a fuse inside the driverside fuse box, just a small fuse, look in your owners manaul to see which fuse to pull.

I'm pretty sure the fuse pull doesn't work on 02+ cars. I know that it has something to do with some wires but I'm not sure on the specifics. Wait for Blackarrow or someone to come around, they should know.

its just behind the panel you take off of the dash on the drivers side...

that was a terrible way to explain it... let me try again

When you open your door its the small panel on the side of the dash. There is a plug that you pull out of it, its towards the firewall, i believe.

It's practically right there when you take the little panel off. There's a huge heat sink attached to the module too.

This method worked on my 02 just fine. Best advice for you is to be patient -- that heat sink does not like to be disconnected so don't get angry and rip it out. Work at it carefully until you get it to willingly pull off.

That was by far the most frustrating thing ive done in a long time.
Theres NO WAY IN HELL that thing was coming off. I worked at it for like 20 minutes. that harness was gonna rip off.
I STILL couldnt get it off in fear that i would rip the whole thing out.
Apparently im missing a step or something because that car will fall apart before that stupid harness comes off.
Maybe its because its so cold out here?
Is there any way to make that harness come out easier?
Any advice would be great because im just having a terrible time with this.

Iirc the clip/s are on the side and I went from the bottom (tore my arm up a bit)and used the screwdriver to pry the clip out of the way to slide the connector off.
