Anyone heard of this (I think i saw something a while back, but I'm not sure) Anyway when I turn on my heater (98 GTP dual climate) to it's warmest setting the ac button lights up. Any ideas ???

I also have a '98 GTP, so i'll check it out in mine, but are you sure the A/C is actually coming on? The light may indicate something more of "if needed, the A/C will turn on". I know when you turn the air on and go WOT, the compressor disengages but the light remains illuminated. Something similar perhaps?

The air conditioning is supposed to come on in the car...it is automatic if you have climate control. did you ever notice that a car will defrost faster if the air conditioning is on...its not just used to cool ya down in the summer...you can have hot air with the air conditioning on...try it...
