If you are worried about the coolant in the "overflow container" then you have other issues. It's just for overflow. A good way to make sure you have enough coolant, is watch for the low coolant light and watch your coolant temps. If the coolant temp isn't where it usually is, then start inspecting.

the only problem is that the low coolant light comes on whenever it feels like it, and the coolant temp. gauge is a joke.

Granted, the overflow isnt that important, but it is good to keep it at the right level

I think I'm going paint coolant too. My car is fine with coolant level. I just saying what if it is leaking and I never knew I have no coolant left on bottle but I can look inside if I decide paint whole thing.

Since I got my car back this morning. I looked at the doors. You know red thing on bottom door? I believe gt/gtp model have light on when it is open. I don't have light wire. It is just snap on like that. Maybe tint them? I remember I saw someone went overboard for tint whole lights thing on map lights, glove box light, doors lights and backseat lights. I'm not sure this forum or clubgp either lol Anyway, I'm doing for doors only.

I think paint whole shift area look sweet. There is member of clubgp UR2NOZ'S car. His car is silvermist but it should close enough for galaxy silver vs. silvermist.

I was worry about leather arm rest but it looks good with whole paint without leather arm rest paint. What do you think?

Right now, in my mind if I remember correct. After August 16th for Greater Ohio Grand Prix club done then I will strip it out and send it to FLIP for paint it for me.

Interior:
1. Dashboard
2. all Shift area
3. window & lock trim (see this picture above or Daytona 500 have one too)
4. paint that part under steer wheel
5. paint the door trim where hood open to rear door where seat belt is. (If I can remove them) If not work then cancel that.

Engine:
1. coolant
2. engine mount
3. cross brace
4. fuse cover
5. strut tower
6. maybe engine head (seem lot of work to remove them for paint.. maybe not worth it)

why would you paint your coolant resevoir? what are you talking about strut tower? you dont have the GMPP handling kit do you?

Thats alot of silver on the interior IMO, especially if your going to paint under the steering wheel....

^^^X2

I've contemplated painting my overflow bottle, I was gonna use a piece of fine line tape and run it up the side toward an edge so it kind of hides it but you can still see, you could try that

But man, painting the thresh-hold for the doors, the under-dash panel, and the whole center console is just over doing it IMHO

ya palsut the only way you can paint a STB is if you actually purchase one because our cars do not come stock with a Strut Tower Brace.

thats cool that you like silver but i think that might be a weeee little too much silver....haha lol

Yeah, I'm thinking order one but after I saw thread about them while ago. Look like I need drill it down. Not worth it I think. This car is not racer anyway.

Okay umm drop door trim and under steering. Everyone should be on this picture. Sound good?

yeah but you have to drill for STB?

I hate drill on my baby car. Once, when I took my car to body shop for sd wing. There is other hole that need to drill it. I won't give 2 bolts to them so they can't drill it but son of bitch drill my trunk lid and have other 2 bolts. They better be glad they did damn good job before I kick their ass if they f**cked up. laugh

Yes, I dropped door trim.
