I like it!! Looks really good! hoods are always a little tricky though when putting a different on the car than the original one, gettin it lined up and all.

that hood just looks like ass! it's all scoop basically. it has to be hard to see over the hood from sitting down in the seats.

Ahh yes that is one of the ugliest hoods yet. Although they needed to raise it that high because if I remember right it's for a double stacked I/C and the standard "ram air" hoods do not provide enough clearance. But golly is that thing UGLY!!!!!!

I got it all aligned up and the grills painted black. It looks much better.
I'll have to get some new pics done real soon.

I had to cut a hole in my airbox so the opening on the underside of the hood lines up with the hole in the airbox.
I had the front grills off last night, doing a little cleaning up on the openings, I noticed the bottom part of the hood is not sealed up properly with the top side of the hood. As I looked inside the front openings I could see the openings for the heat extractors. Air just flows in the front and right out the back. I doubt any of the air is actually making it into the airbox, but for the price I paid, who cares. crazy

It is functional in extracting heat. It does help in cooling. It does not come functional as a ram air setup.
Austin G T P is right. You will have to create a hole for that.

I decided not to make mine ram air functional. Its only going to give me 1-2 hp at 70+ mph.

I am VERY, VERY happy I made this purchase. So I can imagine how Austin G T P is.

My hole was already cut. I want to cut it open a little more. I already cut a hole in my airbox. Built up around the hole with some reflectix and foil tape. I reached up in my airbox from the fender well and I can stick my fingers right in the hood.
Next I want to get some of that foam insulation in a can and see if I can seal that hood up a little better. I think if I take off the extractor grills, I can get to most everywhere I need to. I don't think I'll be able to seal it up completly, but I can get it a heck of a lot better than what it is now.
