I'd like to put an aftermarket supercharger into my 2001 Grand Prix GT - I was wondering if anyone has ever done this before and if so, what would I be getting myself into?
Are there any other peices of the engine that would need to be replaced to be able to handle the supercharger?
Anyone know a good place maybe online to buy a supercharger?
What brands/types should I look for?
And most of all what does this entire operation cost about?

I'd appreciate any answers I can get...thanks.

I know zuulmusic has a paxton supercharger on his GT if you want to go that route but I'd really talk to Ed Morad (GTPED@msn.com) about getting the parts from him to do it or ordering the kit from ZZP. Look through the FAQ link if you want to know what it will take though.

Ed won't have the parts for a Centrifugal supercharger, but he will have the stuff for the top end swap

i love my centrifugal supercharger setup. probably easiest to install. its hard to come by used nowadays, but is available new at www.zzperformance.com. there are several advantages and disadvantage to each S/C setup:

centrifugal (csc)
zzp's M90 kit
top-swap
