how do i remove the center console. something fell down in there, and i cant get it out. i removed 2 bolts from beneath the furry thing inside the console, now i dont know how to take the whole console out.. thanks.

Has anyone had any luck getting this done, I'm working on it right now. The top of the center console where the cup holders are just needs to be gently pried out. That reveals a couple more bolts and screws.



The part that I'm getting stuck on is right up under where the ash tray was.



You can see that the console sort comes back together here, there's 3 screws but even with the ash tray out, they are near impossible to get at. It seems two of them are even covered up by that black bracket in the middle. Anyway, here's a bad shot from the back.



It turns out the the metal clips are part of that black bracket, but I don't know how to pry it out yet without breaking it.
