If you can't find it locally, there's always Ebay: VHT Nite Shades The only down side, of course, is the shipping charges...

Abercrombie, I would think that if for some reason you do get pulled over and get a fix it ticket for it, some paint remover would take that stuff right off.

When done correct, the tinted tails have minimal light loss. I don't see anymore than a couple of coats (tack coat and a cover coat), and a final clear coat, should be all that's needed. I've seen a couple of F-body's going around with tinted tails and I can see their brake lights with no problems, and in the bright sun. If I had an extra set of tail lights I'd have some tinted tails, done the right way.
I do understand what you guys are saying about the whole safety factor. There's no way I'm going to disagree about anything that doesn't put safety first.

If you do'nt overdo it Niteshades workes quite well 2coats and 2 coats of clear, your lights are quite visible with this formula and it gives a nice tint.Chico.

Would the niteshades work with Headlights as well, and how dark could I get my taillights without it blocking out the light, I think black taillights would look nice with my car as would black head and corner lights....I just don't have the money to buy aftermaket pieces.

Alright good point. Guess I'll just try to scrape up some money for the black headlights and corner lights I saw on ebay or just get the clear corners.
