HI all, I just completed a water pump replacement of my wife's 97 Grand Prix
(3.8 non-supercharged) and have come upon a new issue...the trans does not
want to shift out of first (it's an auto) and the speedo doesn't
work........otherwise everything is normal...I've obviously unplugged
something but I'll be darned if I can find it...........anybody have any
quick ideas ?

Just curious on the time it took to replace the pump. I know some stuff on the accessory side of the engine is a pain to access (namely the power steering pump) but how is the water pump? Simple job?
