im looking to get a 3.4" pulley on my supercharger. what kind of supporting mods should i get. also, a lot of you have a 3" downpipe, would it be an overkill with the exhaust if i plan to stop modding after the pulley and whatever supporting mods?

A 3" D/P if all you are doing is a smaller pully then yea i would say it is a bit overkill, i would go with the 2.5" D/P, and the supporting mods for the 3.4 pulley are CAI, reprogrammed PCM, 2.5in Downpipe. I'm I missing anything guys?

Definatly go for the 3" DP because I'm sure once the mod bug has bitten you will be glad you did.Chico.

Cooler plugs (which probably leads to plug wires because you'll break at least one OEM wire when you remove them).

Dont plan on stopping modding. It wont happen! Get the DP. You will be very pleased!

2.5 D/P might be good for a GT, but not a GTP.
You'll need the 3" D/P if swapping to a 3.4" pulley.
It's all about getting the motor to breath easier.

Breathing easy and farting easy is essential, farting being more important with the S/C.

Definetly don't bother with the 2.5", especially on a S/C'd car!

You'll definetly want at least the 3" DP with ubend delete, some kind of intake, a reprogrammed PCM (dont use stock), colder spark plugs, and a 180-degree thermostat.

You might be safe enough with that, but I would recommend a scanner to monitor knock retard and your tune. The aeroforce interceptor gauge is a favorite of many, as it shows you values realtime in a gauge form!
