Cool my junior year of high school I was planning on going to UTI then I changed my mind figured cars would be the hobby. But I really wish I would of learned more in the car field. Oh well. Good luck bro!

thanks man. should of done it. deff worth it. plus its fun and you get a grade for not doing anything really lol. we have this program. that you can bring your car there and we fix it. so when i get my whole top swap parts together im taking it over there and were goiung to do it. and plus we haev a dyno so i can see what i started with and what the end result is. lol

That is sick. I remember when I went there for my interview they had a 800whp 93 cobra on the dyno. SOO loud hahaha. I was gunna do the merc extended course too. Your going to learn so much and it will allow you to do crazy builds. Its a passion! Enjoy it.

I wanted to go to a school like that, but I decided I don't want to work on cars 9-5 and then work on my car.

I'll keep cars as a hobby and have a day job that doesn't kill my back.

yes cars is a hobby, i went to school for collision and refinishing, and i am never going to work in a bodyshop because if i do it all day i will never want to work on my own when i get a chance .... but yes what is the problem

i love it now. but idk how i will feel in a couple years. but its great knowledge to know. well the "so called" mechanic that i went to completly f-ed the fire order. so i took a diagrahm of a 97GT and put em in that order and crossed my fingers and Vroom! took it today and dropped her off for paint. ill have her back next wens. soon as i do im taking to the shop at school and putting it on diagnostic, and alignment. its all free so... .why not lol! but thanks guys!

I'm going to Midlands Tech here in Columbia for the automotive program and it's real fun. I can bring my car in and I just have to pay for parts and the teacher shows the class whats wrong and how to fix it.
