Well, up to the last minute before we meet on Thursday, I'm throwing in a 1 3/8" cored radiator to replace the stock 5/8". It's a radiator for a '98 Monte 3.8, but looks like it will work fine. Got it for $200 OTD, lifetime warranty. I'll get some pics tommorrow... I just recently got the stock one out.

Good luck t-bat. It would suck if something went wrong just a few days before TMS.

Sounds cool, Rook. That should work well over that stocker with the setup your going to have. By the way how is everything going? Havn't seen your thread in a while...

Got a little delayed, but anyway:

I'm still having issues with it getting hot while idling... It keeps getting air in the system, either by not being completely bled or there's a leak. I'm tempted to remove the thermostat and fill it there, just in case. Soon, I might have to start looking for small coolant leaks.

WOW, Were you in the market for a new rad? or did you need the cooling? I've personally never had a problem with it running hot in the 115°+ temps here in PHX. She stays at a steady 195°

My old one was caked on the inside with gunk, probably due to the intake gasket failure. So, temps would never settle down and kept rising. In my drive today, I never got over 185 it looked like. So far, so good.
