sry for the delay, if you are looking for a nice set of performance struts, these would be the ones, having them be adjustable is very nice, change it to number 1 or 2 for long highway trips and then back to 4 for bumming around town and clover leafs, added with the GMPP sway bar kit and a set of Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires i have no body roll and my car handles amazing, if you can afford them i would say get them

Don't want to start yet another suspension thread so i'm bringing this one back. After my turbo goes in my next thing i'll be doing is some suspension upgrades. Want to tighten it up as much as I can and get rid of some understeer. I'm going to put in the GMPP kit with polyurethane end links on the front sway. Also going to add a rear stb. I need/want to replace my front struts and am going to replace them KYB AGX's. I'm worried that I'm going get a large wheel gap compared to what I have now Did you notice any change in ride height when you replaced with the AGX's?

to answer the original question about adjusting the rear struts. There is a flat ground on the threaded portion that protrudes from the top of the strut. In the center of this threaded stud, the adjustment stem sticks out, the one the cap goes on. It can go on in only one way. The numbers line up with the flat. When 1 is lined up with the flat the strut is on its least firm setting. When 4 lines up with the flat it is at its firmest setting.

Struts don't regulate ride hieght, springs do.
If you change struts, but not the springs, your ride hieght will remain the same. Maybe not right at the beginning, but shortly after install the struts will settle with the springs.

Yes they will settle a little, I agree. But my stock struts are completely shot and I think cause it to sag even more than normal and that's why I think new struts will give me a larger wheel gap than what I have currently. Maybe I am wrong though, I'm not %100 sure, I wish I had pics of the ride height when I first installed them to compare. I wish I could lower it more in the front but if I did I would damage my charge pipe because of cartuning's awfully designed intercooler end tank...

I'm almost 5 years on my KYB struts with original oem springs. Ride height is still much improved over the poor quality oem struts that came off the car.

AustinGTP: Do you have KYB "AGX"? I wasn't sure because we have two same name company for struts like "KYB AGX as 4 setting switch" or "KYB 2". 5 years is pretty good.
