I got that intercooler on my car and it took about 13hrs to get everything done. I took it to the Iowa Speedway to drag it and it actually surprised me...I ran an 8.7...I think I can run an 8.5 at a different track because that track isnt that great for drag racing at the Iowa Speedway...

(thats a 1/8 mile time)

i wont be there this weekend sad to say but, i live in waterloo which is 15 min from the track and i go to ames alot let me know sometime and we can get togeather

yea ive got a zzp pcm (not tuned), 3.2 pulley, full 2.5 exhaust, along with headers, and im running on nitto drag radials right now...

o and it is a stage 2 intercooler from zzp

i know people with alot more mods than that and they run nowhere close to 8.5, are sure your heads on straight or are you speaking of the 1/8th mile?

well im thinking about different injectors, dropping my pulley even smaller, and porting the blower...but idk...im not sure how much hp my tranny can handle...but ive only got 68,000mi on my car...

of course its the 1/8 mile. The fasted w-body ever is in the 9's

you need a tuner before any of that stuff

i am hoping to get a tunner sometime, there is a guy in waterloo with one but idk i would rather do it myself or have zzp or someone who knows exactly what they are doing work on it, there isnt many tuners in iowa that i know of

yea ive been looking at the Hp Tuner...and i have a friend with the dhp tuner so ill get it tuned... and i really need to get that wideband...

there is one in cedar falls, newton eddyville ... let me know lets get somethen togeather, i would even host a get togeather and a car show

that car show idea would be sick lol...not much to show right now...i got some damage on my rear door cuz i bought the car and somehow it had gotten dented in so the idiot tried to pound it out with like a pin so it has all kinds of high spots and i slid into a snow bank this winter and cracked my rear bumper cover but no worries both are getting replaced along with new rims. but yes i agree we should get something going.

there is a car show july 26th in my hometown Carroll Iowa, i can look up dates and then we can all go to the show and then after that go back to my place and do some grilling!!!

You'll be really surprised when you get that beast tuned. With that setup, I would say mid to low 13s.
I am running 3.25, 2.5 exhaust, 1.9 rockers, ported lim, blower, N* tb, and I should be mid to low 13s, I just can't launch.
I hope to do intercooler in the near future.
