I've had them on for ~15k miles, bought them when they had their buy 3 get 1 free deal going on. I haven't rode in a GP with GR-2's, so I can't compare on that aspect. The ride with the monroes seems fine, you're not lowered so cornerning could be better, but it feels stable. No bounciness. Its actually a little firmer than I would like, but nowhere near unbearable. Just not Buick-esque. Our highways are terrible, and the car feels fine over the bumps. Not squirrely, not bone-jarringly harsh.

Read on page 1 of this thread. My opinion on GR-2 and OE springs.

well im going to have my car fixed by the local mechanics. I thought about buying the monroe quick assembly but when i found out they wanted $240 for ONE WHEEL, i said forget it! lol The mechanics will be using the monroe struts (but not the quick assembly's) with stock springs(which i will most likely be getting rid of come spring/summer). they are also doing lower control arm bushings, outter tie rods, sway bar repair kit(confused), Wheel suspension bushings(are these the lower control arm bushings??). All of that of that for 680. ya i know its alot of money but my parents wont let me do it myself. they want me to have a professional do it...i tried to explain to them how much i will save but they refuse to let me do it myself!

To pretty much replace all 4 corners on my car, without ball joints/control arm work, it took me and Slick about 9 or 10 hours to get this stuff done. My Suspension Research thread has a bunch of info.

well see the thing is, i dont know how long it will be until i come to tampa. because my brother is going to florida for like 6 months because hes not able to drive his eclipse in the winter any more after lowering it and besides (between you and me lol) he misses my mom a BUNCH!
So i wouldnt get down there until spring break which is when me and Andrew might be coming down for spring break and check some stuff out.
