haha, thats what my rear tires sound like!
ill skip the juicy details and leave it at i replaced both re strut mounts...both rear struts and both shocks...when i put it all back together i noticed that sound...what i know:
-it is tire speed dependent -does not change while turning -the sounds doesnt change under any driving condition -it was not there before i did the work
im almost positive its tire noise but what i dont know is what about changing what i did caused the noise. i would rather not tear it all apart again without some direction.
also i checked herc's site for the coolant change directions but it looks like the GP section isnt there any more. anybody got pics or a link they wouldnt mind sharing
your alingment may not have been true to start causing your tires to wear unevenly and now that you took them off and did work this is causing a loud ride. When I first got my car the tires were not rotated and the dealer tried to play catch up and made the situation worse....moral of the story I needed new tires.
