STB clearance issues

Hey everybody I have a small problem: I tried to put my GMPP handling kit on over the weekend, and I bought brackets from DonRome over on clubGP and they went on perfect... until I went to close the hood, and it wouldn't shut. has anybody else had problems like this, or is it becaues they won't work with a stock hood? any help would be appreciated

I have the same handling kit / STB and also bought the brackets (not sure if its made from the same guy, but it was somebody on clubgp). No issues, but now that I think about it, it's pretty close I guess.
No idea what you should do.
