about to switch to mobil 1, got the car recently about time for an oil change
i always ran mobil 1 in my 89 f-bird(103K-154K) and the engine still runs fantastic, but I'm guessing all synthetics are good. Just had good experience with mobil 1 so i'm sticking with it.

This question is asked on a regular basis, truth is any good sythetic changed at regular intervals will give you good service so find an oil you like and stick to it,I use Royal Purple in all my vehicles just my preference ,more important is regular changes .Chico(pops)

I used Mobil 1 for sometime. I love many oil changes. I tried Valvoline, much cheaper. This latest change I tried RP, much more expensive. Saw it at Wally world for $6.48 a quart, didn't buy. Went to Pep Boys and paid $7.99 like an idiot. I will stick with regular changes like I was doing. I did try a diff filter this time, Purolator, instead of the frams. Does anyone know the number for a Purolator filter that is longer, or bigger then the recommended size? Looking for more capacity.
