I know what NIC stands for but I am looking for the technical reasons why you can't run an i/c core with this cam.

I know it's hard to tune (not an issue for me) and believe it bleeds off a lot of boost but that's about the most I know with this cam.

I know it can pull some good numbers, so if it can do that without i/c then why can't you put a core in there and run an even smaller pulley w/ more boost...?

You can run an intercooler with it, but you can run just as small of a pulley without an intercooler. I've heard that you can run this cam down into the 3.0 territory, and our blowers are working hard and losing efficiency at that level. Our blowers already work really hard, and to run a cam that bleeds off a lot of boost and already getting hot seems like a bad idea to me.

I've never dealt with one before, so I don't really know that much about it, but there are some guys who have put it down into the 11 second territory.

Here's a guess.

Intercooling is a much safer way to go faster.
You can I/C with the NIC, but why not go with a safer cam if you're going to run an I/C.
Less likely to break and just as much power.

Just a guess.
