As much as I dispise pacesetter headers some one with a little disposable income might wanna test the truth to this price.

pacesetter headers for $18.10

I would but I won't use em. Some one who's willing to play could order a set and see what the total comes to. If it's more then the $24 (including shipping) you could always cancel or file a complaint what ever it takes.

You can't really go by the pics cause I bet they use the same photo for all coated or black headers.

Well...I didn't give my ordernumber or name out but I did talk to them there at their live help. The guy kept asking me for my order number etc...but i was able to get answer out of him. He says there "out of stock" of them and that itll be changed in a bit. But I have an invoice and order that says otherwise.

That's bull. It sounds like they aren't bothering to change the price because it's out of stock. When it gets back IN stock, they're going to have a bunch of angry customers wanting the price they ordered.

If they don't honor it, I would go to the BBB, guys.

Well I've talked to an agent aswell about it and they told me it was an error but I would be receiving my headers. A couple of other people told me they wernt in stock, then a few said they were in stock and thatd i'd be receiving mine and some said i'd be charged the whole price for them. Pretty much all of them diffrent anwsers and the price is still the same/and in stock even after all complaints. Thats unfair bullcrap to us the customers. I'm just hoping they will ship mine out, i didn't get the ceramic ones, i got the black ones.

They told me in the live chat support that anyone who bought the 18.10 headers would get there money refunded back to them. I have yet to see it "cancelled" in order status or have an email sent like they said. Lol, herc i accidently clicked on second link on site so i thougth the black ones were the only one...well i saw the ceramic after i purchased the black. When they said the part number that they cancelled it was for the ceramic ones (any1 who had ordered it), i have yet to see mine get cancelled, check your guy's status and see if its cancelled (AustinGTP, wantagtp)

Nobody is going to receive the headers for $18, so stop getting your hopes up. They will not be able to get into your bank account or paypal to get more money to complete the order. Everyone, including myself, will get either an email notifying them of the pricing error with an option to pay the remaining amount to complete the order. If they have no way to get in touch with you, you will get nothing and the $18+ shipping will be refunded back to your account.
When I placed the order I knew I would not get the product for the advertised price. I just did it for the hell of it.

If they cancel em screw em. I've seen many companies make mistakes like that both in print and on the internet and honor the price for those who purchased before they became aware of the mistake. I bought my nav system because of an error the store had to honor. I bought my refridgerator at a big discount because the store didn't take the sale sign off of it a week past the expiration. I know many more people who bought laptops at $20 because of a blunder.

If they were honest they'd honor the sale and the webpage would be down or have been updated by now.

Makes me wonder what would happen if people didn't call to verify? Some shmoe would probably box it up put the label on it and ship it.

Well even if it was a computer error, they should still honor the price to the customers that order them before the price change because they can get sued for false advertisement if a customer takes it that far.

Well it is to good to be true...unless a miracle happens. I asked hypothetically speaking if someone were to order it they would eventually have their ordered not processed and cancelled and money refunded back. So it looks like we'll be getting our $20-30 back...but there was one guy i was able to bring down the price by 25 dollars and free shipping for the "confusion" i've had with this part. I don't think I'll need, nor want the part that bad to purchase it considering I already have the Powerlog. Unless they bychance happen to miss and forget about cancelling my order it doesn't look like it has much hope in the proccess of getting around there checks...I shall hear in a couple days.

I just cannot beleive if this was an "error" that they would go about fixing it instead of leaving the price at 18.10...that to me is just pathetic on its own. My order is still proccessing. Is your's still in proccesing Austin GTP?

Heres the email I recieved about an hour after I tried ordering them last night:

"We regret to inform you that at the present time we are out of stock on Header.

You will be issued a full refund within 24 hours. You should see the credit post to your account in 3-4 business days.

The rest of your order has been processed for shipment.

If you are interested, we may have a different brand available. Please call us @ 1-866-503-5156 at your earliest possible convenience.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you and hope that you will continue to shop with us in the future."

I have no idea why they say that the rest of my order has been processed, because I didn't order anything else. Oh well, guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens.

If you paid for the headers with paypal DO NOT ACCEPT the refund ,they have to supply you with a raincheck so when the article is in stock they must supply you with the article at agreed upon price ,I'll get a set of headers out of them of that be sure and at the price of $23 .Chico(pops)

No I do'nt need these headers and to be honest I'd never put pacesetter's on my car,but I did go through a big hassle with pacesetter when doing my MGB midget after 2 set's I finally got the right ones and they fit like sh-t I had to do some major cutting and welding just so they'd work so this is my way of payback.Chico(pops)

my friend bought a PS header & catback for his cavalier, the header and down/mid pipe fit perfectly, the catback on the other hand sucked majorly, plus it made his car sound like a dirtbike

Hey Guys...their Mistake is Your gain. And, they are Not Allow to get-off with "It was a Mistake"...it would still be considered "False Advertisement".

They "Must" sell it at the Advertised price...if Not tell them that You will contact the Attorney General in Your area. And, most likely they will want to make a deal for a bit more $$$, which still wouldn't be a Bad Deal.

But, You must "Stick to Your Guns"...if Not they will refuse to fill the order, & claim that there is No More in stock for the GP.

1. When ordering , price of item was at $18.10 and "in-stock"
2. Was not notified of the catalog error or "no-stock" excuses. (Nor email, nor phone)
3. Price continues to stay @ 18.10 and "in-stock" even though I've complained, mentioned it online and over the phone many times and all have told me it'd be fix very soon. (this was many days ago).
4. Customer service was no help to me, would listen to my story then ask me if i wanted to reorder when I would constantly tell them I wanted a Rain check or for my order status to remain open.
5. Online Agent's and a few phone reps told me that there Policy wouldn't allow for a raincheck, then I would ask them to find me the policy on their Policy online and they would exit out of their conversation boxes with me or randomly ask "so is there anything you wanna order?" or other such phrases im sure I could make a list.
6. I read threw all of their policies, nowhere was it ever mentioned that an order would be refunded if an item was out-of-stock.
7. The company should honor the prices at which they are advertising at and realise that it's their mistake and that it should be taken care of (obviously even though they've received many complaints still haven't fixed it).

So its a fight im putting up with, im sure some will disagree and some will agree but im not going to give up. I had a represenative leave a note for a Supervisor/manager to take a look at after I made all my points to her over the phone. I will be calling back monday hoping to talk to someone with a higher level up in the buisness.

I'd order them when you still have the chance, better than seeing people get it and they fix it. Not like you can really loose any money on this.

I also called since my order status was "Order Issue" and the lady who must have just learned american told me that in 4 of the warehouses in my area they were out of stock, but they will know if they can ship out by the end of today. So if I still have that I'll call back tomorrow and ask again.

I tried the live support thing, but I got a computer that all it would say was "refund will be started".

I would be on the phone with the BBB by this point. This was funny, now it's not - they are just being rude and stupid.

I just got done talking to Alfred and he told me their currently out of stock and the last time they shipped out was last week. He told me he would give me a refund but I told him I would like a rain check and he set that up for me. So when there back in stock I give them my order id and they get shipped to me for the price I paid ($41.70) smile

I talked to a Supervisor over their customer service line and they told me to keep my order number so when the part comes back in stock that i can replace my order "at the same price" (even mentioned the pricing error that it was 23.60 and the item was normally 300-400 dollars) and he said that the order would still be 23.60 and that all i have to do is order it threw the phone and give them my order number and they would reopen it up for me and sell it to me at that price I paid. I will be receiving an email when the part is back in stock and then will purchase them again and actually get them.

Call them up streetshaker, show them a peice of your mind. As far as them listening? Probably not, this is what you get when you outsource your costumer service to India i guess and try to have angry american customers talking 2 them.

Just go mow a yard or something 4drgt lol thatll get yah that cash fast. As for the whole getting of the part I hope they'll stay true to their word when its in stock...im willing to bet there gonna tell me "we will sell it to you but we will only sell it to you for the price it is now, not the price you purchased it at"...but yah never know. I did talk to 2 supervisors (ended up speaking to 1 more) and was able to confirm that was going to receive an email when the pacesetter headers came into stock and then i could give them my order number and it would be all good and I would pay 23.60 for them.

Well I have every transaction printed and order receipt. I hope they stay true to their word.

And if you bought 50 of them you would be loadded

50 * 18.10 = $905

Resell for $400

400 * 50 = 20k

That would be sweet :p

I filed a complaint with the BBB on the whole issue. Being told by a supervisor that I would indeed get the order re-opened once the part was back in stock, and then the customer representatives telling me no that cannot happen. Gotta love this foreign tech support and an overall bad business.

I don't deal with that site just for this reason. They have tons of issues with their business. They messed up an order on my three times, and I still had to modify the item because they couldn't get it right.
Dthreap was just trying to order an 02 sensor from them, and they were charging really low prices. They have more products listed for one item and I don't think they have any of them in stock. Their prices are always messed up, I won't deal with that company, too scattered brained.

I'm suppose to call back in 2 weeks when their back "in-stock" highly doubt that one...even if they do come back in stock theyll change the item number thus making you order again at the correct price. Either that or theyll be too lazy to fix it lol.
