I asked a very similar question not long ago while I was making my decision. The only reason I considered the MagnaFlows was because I didn't want my car to be too too loud, but I wanted a nice deep tone to reflect some of my mods I've made (past and future).

Well, I went AGAINST the Muffler shops advice (With some thanx to InitialDGP) And let me tell you Im thrilled with my FlowMasters.

I Went with the Delta 50's and they are exactly what I wanted. Nice and Deep, Not too loud.

Also, something worth spouting about was I got a free upgrade! From what to what i'm not sure, but the Muffler Shop guy showed me a sticker that came in the box saying "Congratulations, We've upgraded your XXX to XXX for free" etc... I was in a big rush to not show the wife the bill so I missed the finer details smile

I'll try to shoot some Video in and out of the car that you can compare agains Herc's video to get a feel for the diff between the 50's and 40's to help with your decision if you go with FlowMasters.

Cheers!

Hey thanks canadian glad I could help, by monday I should have some vids up of my super 40 deltas myself, so we'll have all 3 to compare. My prob is getting ahold of a vid cam since I dont own one. Anyone know if there is a USB extension for web-cams? Im about 15 feet from my car at this computer if I could get like a 30 foot extension cable or something I could take a vid of it in the garage. Looking forward to the comparisons. thumbsup

notontopic Hey Canadian is it snowing there yet? Im actually about to be up in Madawaska in Maine my home town for christmas, its about a 5 minute walk from the border of Edmonston, hoping I can get some good sledding in (snowmobiling).

Initial. I think you've confused Edmundstun with Edmonton. Us Edmontonians are in Western Canada (Alberta). So I'm not too sure about down East where you'll be. Sorry man. No snow over here though, It dumped once and then went away, nice dry roads at the moment but still cold.

I bought a new sled in 2001 - Arctic Cat PowderSpecial 600 Special Edition) and Have only been able to drive it once since, I can't even enjoy my sled nowdays frown (Time to Move).

Cheer All!

notontopic Your probly right about my location sry, I meant the one furhter east right next to the american border, my clan (family) is Polaris people ourselves, we have about 7 sleds between the 14 of us in maine, tho like 5 people including me dont live in maine nemore, my uncles and I maintain'em and ride in the winter when I can make it up there. One of my fav things is hangin at the sporting club and racing up and down the lake at night, 100+ on a snowmobile is way too much fun.
