Pulled the dash off tonight to look to see if I had the digital DIC plug and I think I found it but I'm not sure. Is this it?

Well it's all put back together now and that's all I got.

As for the location it wasn't right in back of the DIC like I thought it would be, it was kinda on the right side of it. Luckily ChiTown was there and pointed it out basically between the head unit and the glove box. We had to remove the radio to get to it but there it was wrapped in that foam you see hanging there.

Thanks for posting that! I'll look for it next time I pull the dash, maybe my car has it as well...

sweet.... since my car is allready in pieces from waiting for my window .... why not rip it apart farther to try and find the plug lol

Haha well good luck finding it and like I said just make sure you look in every possible place because it would really suck if you give up thinking there isn't one there when there really is and you just missed it.

im sad ... i was looken again today .. and still nothing ... my guess is i dont have one ... im really sad now

Sorry to hear that. I think that only 97-98's had the plug and not 99's so don't feel too bad.

i thought some 99's had them but im not shure ... o well

i just order the 97 dic from ebay for 15 dollars i might get it today but none the less im going in for round 2 for the plug tonight .. whats the chance of it being in the 97 90%??

You asked chances before, we don't know. If we did, we would have replied to you last time.

It's hit or miss, but all early models should have it, because they put the same harness in all cars to reduce costs. Later, the cost of copper must have outweighed the cost of making separate harnesses.

so far no luck ... any places that they couldve hidden it? i followed almost every wire that i feel the dash is about to get riped out...
