So I go out at 7am this morning to meet a friend for breakfast and of course, my car doesn't start. At first I thought it was the battery because it was just making a "thump" when I turned it, but I noticed my lights were on and the battery was connected just fine. Not to mention that I just bought it in September.

Any ideas? My guess is a starter.

My 5 car family is down to 2 cars. It's like my car knows when we need it, just doesn't care. It's selfish.

What's it doing? Is it turning over at all? Is the starter engaging? Does it start and then shut off? Does it crank but not turn over? Can you hear the whine of the fuel pump right behind the driver's side rear seat?

Help us, help you...

Marc

I helped myself by just slapping myself.

My Dad was the last to drive it last night. He didn't put it all the way in park, so it didn't click in. It started.

It wasn't turning over, not cranking, nothing. It just wasn't in Park. Damn automatics....

Thanks for the help anyway Marc.

LOL... good thing you didn't tow it off to the dealership. They'd have charged you $400 for fixing it!

Just bought two 4-packs at Walmart today, $1.88 per 4-pack. Makes a mean Pina Colada to.

Ok Jack. I got the 9 and the 1 dialed. Just give me the cue and I'll hit the last 1 for you.
