was browsing, and to my knowledge what would be the sense of having a simulator and not having the real thing, the EGR valve. Does it add horsepower. Also anyone check out those pellets that add up to 20 horses with high octane fuel?

Pellets, green pills, additives, all the B.S. is really B.S.

It won't add hp, it will obviously stop your egr from working. The egr recirculates exhaust back into the engine, and exhaust is not clean at all. It can cover you TB and LIM in a small amount of film and can act as a insulater keeping heat in. It won't hurt anything, but it won't do anything noticable if you disable it.

i just deleted my egr with the pennies. No real difference, but i didnt have a choice, since the egr tube doesnt fit inside of the pacesetters

maybe thats where my faint exhaust tick under load is coming from (TOG headers though). i was a little suspicious on how that area seals up.

anyway, no real performance gain. just a cleaner intake manifold is all you'll get. Also slightly worse MPG, taking longer to warm up the car, and worse emissions.

you can also disable the EGR with a tuner or customized aftermarket PCM.

crap filled pellets? who comes up with these ideas anyways? crazy

i deleted my egr too, i still get about 18.5 mpg gallon but i imagine my intake is much cleaner since it's not drawing in that disgusting exhaust

thats probably what it is. i dont know if togs have the same problem, but with mine, it wasnt even close. Mine came out of the hole every time i went WOT and it would tick like crazy. so i gave up and deleted it

if you dont retune your airfuel after removing the egr, you run the risk of runing leaner. the car uses the egr gas to lower combustion temps. without it they will be hotter and can cause more Knock.

the main reason people delete the EGR is when they install an intercooler. if they didnt, the IC would be all caked up and clog the flow.

I deleted the EGR on my Z34 because i wanted to keep the intake and TB cleaner, and wanted to get more fresh air in the motor... by eliminating the exhaust from entering i am able to get more clean fresh air per cylinder intake. so i could run more fuel and make more power.

I deleted mine for the same reason... all that crap inside my intake and throttle body was enough reason for me.
