Heya,
Who here autocrosses with their GP? I know Eric W used to and Quija does.
Where would a newbie go to learn and get in on some of this action? Any tips, tricks or pointers?

I'm interested too. I'd love to be the first GP to spank Eric at an autoX! Although, I could never beat his burnouts. Marc

Chew, Marc... If you guys are free this Sunday, there is an autocross at Fed Ex field. Registration is already closed for this even, but it would still be fun to go watch and learn some tricks, etc. Ill be sporting my new Hoosier tires this Sunday. 305/30/18 in the rear and 275/40/17 in the front! I got 3rd place last year in SS class.. gotta get 1st this year in SM2 ... some out and join the fun! http://www.autocrossers.org has a lot of info and schedules for this season. and FINALLY... do NOT listen to Queerja .. caus he SUCKS at autocross... he has such nicknames as : Screech, MrScreecja and more :p

Bill, You ... not look like an ASS? Thats gonna be hard No wait ... I'm confusing you with Cattie Maybe we can get some WDCCGPers and MACCGPers to go in and have a big Grand Prix turnout. That would be very cool, IMHO. Although if my memory of SCCA rules isn't too out of date, most of our cars will be in the modded classes by now given what we've done to them. And unfortunately most of those mods aren't suspension or handling related (at least not yet!).

Chew - you are correct. Even something as simple as a STB will put you in a higher mod'd class. Ugh. I need to get my skillz up on autocrossing.
