About how much is a HUD system (either aftermarket or OE)? (Post #95)

Ok i got somethign for you guys...I got my GT up to 128 mph. It didnt seem to be accelerating anymore after that and the rpms were right before the yellow at 5 1/4. I was confused so i decided to do the automatic tap shift with the accelorator when i realised it was time to slow down. I swear that I heard it drop into 4th but I didnt have enough time to see. I have the ZZP 1.0 pcm and I know the shift points are at 6.25 for first thru fourth. And in third i never hit 6.25 rpms so it never shifted into 4th, it just stopped dead at 5 1/4. I also had the 3" DP with high flow cat. Could this be making me not get through 3rd gear, if i was even in 3rd gear? I swear I was, but i could be wrong. Can you guys help me figure this out?

I have a friend that used to have a fully modded '00 that he got up somewhere between 160 and 170 one time out in west Texas.
He had 3.69's in the tranny and said it was a little hard to get the tranny to do more. I wish he hadn't gotten rid of that car before I met him. The pictures don't do it justice from what I'm told.
It held the Texas GP 1/4mile record until a couple of years ago. 12.4 with an imperfect tune and more potential that they hadn't been able to squeek out of it at the time.

I've hit 117 so far but I plan on hitting the limiter eventually...unless I get a new chip first.

108 mpg at stock, tuned could be faster.
I ran a 140mph couple weeks ago, smooth as a bullet.

(108) stock.....with the limiter removed by a pcm and small bolt ons like intake and exhaust gt's can go (145)....i only know this because i went that fast....it was redlined i dont advise trying it really or if you do dont hold it there for more then a couple seconds tranny n engine are sure to get damaged

my friend did 140+ in his 99 gt, with tuned pcm, full exhaust and cold air intake. spedo was topped. ZZPerformance said that when a MPH gage is bottomed out, the car is doing around 145

speedometer bottumed out is 145.....digi on the windsheild is great for that lol
