I recently purchased a car alarm/keyless entry system for my car and the installation is far beyond my abilities. (I suck with wiring and such) I was wondering if anyone knew a ball park figure of what it would cost to get it installed.

Well the only way for the alarm to go off on the stock system is if you unlock the car from the inside and then open the door...you could smash every window in the car and it won't make a sound...aftermarket alarms DO make noise..lots

and my bro put an alarm on his truck...and it cost like 300 bucks to get it put in...its a lot of labor..

Labor and replays (each relay can cost 30 bucks or more)

Stereo install shops will do these cheaper than most places

my car used to have a car alarm...or at least I think it did. When I bought the car the keys had Viper remotes on them, but they didnt do anything. I checked the batteries and that didnt do anything. I think the previous owner took out the controller or w/e but left the actual horn for the car in the engine bay cuz that was the only thing I could find in there, that was part of an alarm system.

I'm not looking for a wiring diagram, I was looking for a ball park figure of installation costs

I put a clifford Matrix RSX3.5 in my car, got remote start, 2-way, starter kill, TONS of features, just spent a good day and got it done, not bad at all
