I live in icy Two Rivers WI idk if thats the problem but... Ive had this problem before on my 98 GTP. Sometimes when i would do burnouts with the traction control off, the ABS light would come on and the trac control light would not turn off and i would have to shut the car off and start it up and the warning lights would disappear... Well i left my buddys house... didnt do anything drove the car like a grandma, went to the gas station to get cigarettes and left the car running and when i got back in the car... my abs light and traction control off lights were on and now they wont go off! i have no abs or traction control and it really sucks without it with all the d*mn snow we have been getting lately.

Please Help!

Sounds like you have a bad wheel hub sensor. But first off check the wires going to the hubs. You may have a broken/loose wire.

are you stepping on the break petal at all because if u are then the abs light will come on because the sensors are picking up that the back wheels arnt moving and when the front ones are then the computer gets fooled and think that you are spinning when you arnt suposto

the lights are on all the time from when i start my car until i shut it off ill check the wires i know when the shop replaced my hub assemblies on the front their is a bracket with a sensor im guessing is the abs sensor? and the bracket was bent hitting the brake rotor and making a squeaking noise in which i had to bend that bracket back. Stupid shop mechanics... but yeah ill check that one first and see what i come up with. That was on the LF wheel

It is either a bad wheel hub or like Herc said an ABS sensor has gone bad. They're not that bad to switch out, but you will have to have some patience and a good hammer !!

Sorry to say but the sensor is embedded in the hub. So to change a faulty sensor you have to change the hub.

used a multi-meter and check wiring on all 4 wheels.if you have pos on all 4 you have a bad hub somewhere and you will need to have it scan to tell what wheel hub is bad.
