I got my DIC, I emailed ED to get the needed plug, http://www.clubgp.com/newforum/tm.asp?m=3595319&appid=&p=&mpage= i think i kind of found how to wire this .... i just have a cupple of questions ... and i know all of you on here so thats why i didnt post over there, is the DLC the same as the OBD2 plug ??i just want to get most questions answered before i start to wire this up and then run into problems

Yes, the Data Link Connector and the OBD2 plug are the same thing. wink

yup blackarrow is correct just make sure you splice into the correct wires behind the speedo it should be labeled a lil hard to see at first but its there ... for the havc controls to make it easier then counting is you want to splice the org and brwn into the hot and cold not the on and off i learned the hard way and for the gry/blcak wire i spliced into radio i think it was the only one like that but it was pretty simple as long as you dont screw up like i did haha any other questioins feel free to post up

i need a dic plug but ed wants 20 for a plug because he said he dosnt like to sell just the plug ... so if anyone has bought a dic from ed and gotten the plug and not needed it please let me know

Ed sent me the DIC without the plug... then I had to have him send it. It got lost or something. I wonder about the guys working for him sometimes.

yes... if i only have ordered my dic through ed ... i got it through zzp. and it came without a plug

i get out at 4 so ill be home around 430 or so depends on the icy roads ... if it looks good i didnt mess it up ill cut you some long wires ...

hope you can see it there the orange wire i cut way too short have no idea why i did that the purple/white is workable the rest is plenty more then what i got for my dic...
