Installed everything, car started no leaks, no rocker noise, except high pitched ringing. Disappears on RPM increase and when the engine gets warm. ( still the odd ring).

high pitched Rings at Idle. I installed rockers 1.84, 3.25 pulley, 3 inch down pipe, PCM, new plugs 180 t stat, Throttle body HV and SS inter cooler.

I think its the two plates?

If it only does it when cold, try cleaning the IAC valve... That's the valve that makes the noise that people complain about making a sucking sound at idle when the car is cold.

You can spray carb cleaner or starting fluid around it to find any leaks as well. You'll hear the engine rpms go up if there is a leak.

As Aaron suggested I used soapy water. It appears that it is being suck in at the rear right side by the snout.
I will also apply what Rook suggested in 5 minutes.

The seal look fine when install, any takes on that one?

Can I drive the car safely until I fix it?

And you used the GM gasket and I used the ZZP ones? Now I am not sure what to use...but the closes gasket is in town. I am going to take a long hard look in that area. Sounds like a question for the forum.
I am going to use a GM gasket, hopefully they have one in town.
Man does that car haul, the black marks must of been 20 feet long...
The sound disappears when the car warms up so I hope with the hole plugged the black marks on the pavement will get longer.

When you get some new gaskets, try using some of that Permatex copper gasket spray. You just spray the gasket prior to installation and it helps fill the crevices. Might assist in getting a nice seal.

The spray is mainly for metal/stiff paper gaskets to help fill voids and create a better seal. Head gaskets are an example of a good use. Using it on cork or rubber doesn't really help anything since they swell/compress naturally. Best thing for those is proper torque and a clean mating surface.

No I dont think so Herc, we followed the instructions. alternated sides like a tire. The guy that helped me with the work is a good lic Mech.
We took 3 times longer than we should of, just to make sure things went right. And every new piece we put in (except sc leak) is running very well.
Perhaps me and Aaron just happen to get that type of gasket.
