First of all, I'm going to say this. Next time I go to the track I am;

-taking out the subwoofer box because after every launch it got thrown to the back of the trunk

and

-taking my cat-back off at the clamped area by my Y pipe because every time I launched, I disconnected my exhaust.

Now, for the actual racing...

I ran 4 times. I won every race. Here's a pic of my slips. I was car 131. I raced a Celica, another GTP, a Civic Si hatch, and a ricey little honda with an electric supercharger.

HOWEVER, in lue of all the awesomeness of racing for the first time, I forgot to scan on the first run.

On the second run, I remembered to set my gauges to record. I was seeing 12.8* of KR at the launch, dropping to 0 by 2nd gear and not seen again for the rest of the run.

My gauge reported around 235hp.

I think I may need to reset my PCM and relearn my fuel trims. Or, get a tuner and a laptop.

Ah, you're already at the track? Little crazy.

Anyways, those 60' aren't hot, plus without a decent tune, you are losing more than you are gaining at the moment.

with all that work, you should be in the 13's, or close to it at least.

track prep is key my friend, pull the headlight, unload any extra weight, drop tire pressure in the fronts, and feather the throttle. you need 2.0 60 foot times, not 2.3, that's killing you.

EDIT - did you scan your LTFTs? i cant believe how much KR you were getting

I'd like to see other people's time slips. That track might have had bad prep.

I wonder if you're getting false knock.
Usually KR shows up at the top end of the shifts, not the launch.
Maybe something to do with losing your exhaust.

Look at his time slips..... Best 60' aside from his was 2.41..... Not a good sign.

IMO that track has some of the better track prep than any other track ive been to. i run 2.0 60's there all day. pb of 14.1 stock. GLD by far is my favorite track.

sorry for the small blurry pic but the stats are:
R/T____.369
60'____2.032
330____5.927
1/8____9.206
MPH____75.30
1000___12.019
1/4____14.403
MPH____94.91

This was a hot humid day. my line is on the left.

It was 2 civics and a celica, cmon guys it's not like I was racing a Z28 Camero. Of course the other cars I raced were slow.

The GTP didn't have any mods except a stereo and lots of cool lighting. He also painted a lot of stuff.

I don't know anything on the Celica other than the guy was going "WTF?" when I blew past him down the line.

One Civic was my friend in his '02 Civic Si. He was running consistant 16's all night.

The other Civic was my friend with the most rictastic car their. Big fart can, very loud, and guess what else? ELECTRIC SUPERCHARGER!

I'm not saying I'm all that or anything, I'm just happy I won my races. I COULD have raced a red Nova with tires the size of a small child, or a turbo'd Hayabusa, but they were WAY out of my league.

But yeah, I'm wondering now too if it's false knock. On the top end I'm fine, it's launched and punching the gas that seems to throw the KR readings.

I've got my short trim and long trim on the same gauge right now so I'm going to read zuuls topic and see what they should be looking like. I've been seeing -2.3 on the long trim a lot though.

I think I need to get those trims in order with some casual driving before tomorrow night at the track.

And BTW, I had like 150 miles on the clock since the top-swap before I went to the track. Wouldn't that be enough?

In any case, I'm going to look at getting a tuner because I don't think I'm tuned for my cam and my fueling is probably way off.

Edit: Car 131 is me. Car 130 is Andy in the Civic Si. Car 102 was the Celica. 124 was the other GTP. Car 122 was rice boy.

-2.3 on LTFT's is not bad... That KR reading on launch is interesting. Did you pull the TC fuse?

Still for your mods I'd expect a bit faster than you have on your slips.

What's the TC fuse? Traction control? I left it on so I would have an easier time launching

Edit: Would I be better off with the power-tuner and go buy a laptop

http://www.pfyc.com/pc/GN7021/GPUNDER/Digital+Horsepower+Inc.+PowrTuner.html

or would this suffice

Oh lord, no, turn TCS off. It hurts you more than it helps you.

Your times are really off. You're running what I ran with my GT. It only had a u-bend delete.

Is there a way to download your scans? Have some folk take a look at it. Maybe hit up a dyno for an hour, spend $100, and it will be on a wideband setup.
