well i put my stock radio (tape player)back in to replace the cd player that was stolen not long ago. so i was figurin that i would just invest in an MP3 and leave the stock radio be. but i think i will also want a CD player, so im thinkin i will just put a stock one in and save myself the cash and peice of mind that its not flashy. the questions are, will the stock cd player hook up with the tape player harness and does anybody have one they want to get rid of, i will be more than happy to give the tape player with the cash for the cd in case it would be needed.

yeah, it should work as long as you get the one without the eq.(guessing)! i don't think that you can put that one in there. plug on the cd/radio will be the same, just have a cd slot rather than a tape deck.

I have the stock CD player with a 3 band EQ.

If you find out that it works, I'll sell it to you. I've been looking to sell it, and I need the cash for my wedding.

I don't know much about the wiring though, so do your research and let me know.

The stock CD player will hook up fine all controls will work with out problem .Chico.

yeah, i thought it would chico, i just didn't know if the eq was for the bose system or not, that was my only thing i wasn't sure about.
