If he went to Bowling Green track, which is right next to him, it's a 1/4 mile. If it's an 1/8 mile, he must have broke and rolled it across the line to get those times.

lol im just posting nothing but the truth after our little problem with someone i will not mention...

And actually I do have a point to make. I ran a 15.32 with just a homemade short CAI stock.

Then I took my car to the track with 2.5 catback exhaust, that doesnt do much, zzp comp, k&n upgraded CAI from ZZP, 104 plugs, 180 t-stat, and 3" DP with high flow cat and I only ran a 15.28.... I think there is something wrong there too. I was expecting a little less than that

Jon, can you remember what kind of car you were racing on the first slip? It took off like a bat out of hell (with a worse 60ft no less), but by the end of the 1/4 you were trapping at a higher speed.

I said it in another thread and I'll say it again, '97s like to be eccentric.

Maybe it was 32 degrees and had a 50 MPH tailwind. I know my chevelle picked up 2/10s one day at the track due to 30-40 mph tail winds. Either that or he/she is looking at the car next to him's times.

I have yet to see a truck that is really good on gas. Sure the GP hasn't got some issues? A guy that works at another store and would help us out some times had a GMC 2.2 w/ 5spd and his sucked on the mileage.

I ran a 15.01 with a 3"dp, pcm, thrasher CAI and crappy tires. With those mods his times are feasable

Outside temps make a difference as well. Here in KY, this is one of the few times during the year that its cool with no humidity.
