OK so I just ordered my ZZP 3" 304 stainless bolt in d/p w/ the high-flow cat and I just had a few questions.

What should I do next?
I was planning on ordering an Overkill PCM, 180 T-stat and some Autolite 304's, and getting a 3.5" pulley. Do y'all think that will be good enough for no KR? If not what else should I do?

I was also wondering if the o2 sensor will be ok when I install the D/P. It seems like a bunch of people have been setting SES codes when they put their D/P in and I just wanted to make sure I wasn't gonna run into any problems..

Thanks for all the imput guys.

Do all that and you should be good on the KR, but the only real way to find out is to scan.

With my mods I get zero KR all the way through first gear at wot. I start getting short spikes of 3-5 once I hit second. More than likely it's false KR, I just haven't put any effort into finding it's source.

OK cool, I was also planning on getting the Aeroforce Scan Gauge once everything is said and done so I can keep an eye on KR.

But thanks for the help.

Yeah what Bobby said. As for the O2 sensor, it's a crap shoot. I think some people damage their O2 sensors when they put in the DP and that may create the errors.

Recently I have heard someone say the high flow cats are TOO free flowing and they may throw the code at WOT.

I don't know the answer exactly, but I had my DP on for a good 9 months or so and never threw a code. I think some cars are just more sensative to it than others.

Nice dude, You're gonna love that thing! You might just wanna get the ZZP pcm, it's alot cheaper and they do a pretty good job of tuning, and you can even have them delete the rear O2 code. Just an idea.

OK cool, I'll keep that in mind Andrew. How do you like the ZZP PCM? I've just heard so much good stuff about Overkill ones.

Well... actually mine isn't really a ZZP pcm anymore. The guy that tuned my car completely flashed it back to stock everything, and then made all the fueling adjustments and such..

When I ordered mine from ZZP they just punched in the stuff necessary for the top swap, so at least the car would run. I guess I would say I liked it while I had it.

It's best to send him a PM over on ClubGP, he's "Overkill".
His web site is out dated, and listed in Canadian dollars.
If you have a DHP, ZZP, or Intense PCM he'll reprogram it with his settings for $100, shipped ($80 to reprogram and $20 for return shipping).
Be sure to send him a complete list of your mods.

Hi-flow cats can easily set the code. Its not always because of a damaged O2. Its not that the cat isn't doing its job, either. I had emissions sniffing done on my car with the hi-flow cat and it passed with flying colors. You may want to get an O2 simulator if yours sets.

I was planning on putting the D/P on before I do anything, so if it throws a code, I just get that code deleted from the PCM i'm getting. But thanks for all the information guys...
