I'm not sure how you're supposed to jump start a car with a battery like that. Neither my friend nor I could get the second clamp to stay on. Luckily, he didn't need his truck jumped, he was just trying to see if he could get it on in case his new sub killed his battery. laugh

thats why you have the covered post on top of the fuse block for your positive cable...then any ground will work fine.

For safety purpose you shouldn't connect jumper cables directly to your battery.
As T-bat said, positive post on fuse box and any ground will work just fine.

Actually, it's always been recommended that the positive lead goes on the battery and the negative should stay on a ground some distance away. This prevents sparks from igniting the hydrogen gas it releases.... so the battery won't go boom.
