If you are getting the one that has a high flow cat, it is a "bolt on" setup. It bolts on to the rear manifold (2 bolts) and to a flange after the cat (2 bolts).

If you do it yourself...definitely soak them in a something that will break rust like PB Blaster. Soak them many times as much as you can. I did not do this ahead of time, and as a result, one of my bolts broke and crimpton had to use a torch to extract it.

And if I get te once without the Cat it bolts up to the manifold and to were, what i'm trying to ask is does the DP eliminate the resinator. I'm thinking im going to get it done professinally so they can do the u-bend to for me.

The DP wether with cat or without will have the Ubend eliminated already.

If you're getting just the D/P itself and plan on using your original cat, you will need to have the D/P welded to your original cat.

Herc, I don't think that is true. If you get a DP without a cat, you need to weld it to the front side of the cat. The Ubend is on the other side of the cat. So, you'd still need to do the ubend delete. That is why I think it's more cost effective to get the DP with the ubend delete and high flow cat. No welding and it's a little cheaper in the long run.

No DP eliminates the resonator. You will have to cut the resonator out and weld a straight piece of pipe in it's place.

Pending on where you buy it from as to whether it's bolt in or not. Usually if it's just a bolt in application they tell you up front.
You can tell by the pictures as to what's involved to installing it.

PS-Looks like JimmyC went to solid stainless as well now to match zzp. Grrr...I should have waited a couple weeks!

I am not sure what you are trying to say. That link is for a racing DP. That is a DP, a straight pipe, and a Ubend delete. There is no cat in that setup.

That's funny. No, I'm sure mine is not stainless. I bought the one he was selling on clubgp. It was slightly used (20 miles) but he sold it to me for $200 shipped so I jumped on it.

So if I get this ZZP DP all I will need is the O2 sensor hook up. And I will alittle confused do i need a ubend setup too or does it come on the DP aready?

For the one you linked to, you have two options there;

The "shorty" will weld to your cat. You don't even need to mess with your O2 sensor. However, you will still have the u-bend and you will need to pay someone to remove the u-bend (and then mess with the O2 sensor) if you really want to take full advantage of this.

The other option is a race pipe that is bolt on, but there is no cat involved...just a straight pipe which takes the place of your old cat. This has a bung for the O2 sensor, but you will need to buy an O2 simulator because it will throw a code since there is no cat. And, in some places with strict emissions it's illegal to run without a cat.

That's right. Forgot about that.
