There was a thread on the old list about the differences between 2200s and 3200s. One of my 2200s caught a stone and I have to buy a new set. Wondering which to get and don't seem to be finding a way to get to the old archives.... Thanks for any help. Mike Skinner

2200 = foglight, wider shallower beam 3200 = driving light, tighter longer beam

I'm interested in the best setup for running fog lights and headlights with smoke covers (Both always on to make up for the covers - they have PIAA bulbs too) So I'm wondering if 3200s can be run constantly without getting blinked at by oncoming cars.... Anyone run 3200s always on??? Maybe it's an issue of careful aiming???

I run pretty much with mine on all the time. I like the look of the parking lights/ driving lights looks. The 3200's rock as long as they are aimed correctly, which is a lot harder than it looks. If you want to really compensate for the covers, I changed out the 55w H3 bulbs that came stock with the 3200's and threw in 100w bulbs had to up the inline fuse to 20 amps and they work great!!!! Just some ideas

I've had both and prefer the 3200's. I have the PIAA headlights and I think they suck. I'm waiting on my new 100watt bulbs.

I have the 3200's and a set of 65/100 Watt bulbs I got online. I like this setup the best, but I still need to adjust the 3200's as I still get flashed at now and again. http://www.autostockinc.com/index2.html is where I got the headlights. The go all the way up to a 80 Watt low X 100 Watt High beam.
