I have a 2000 grand prix se 3.1L. I want it to sound deeper, meaner, if you will. I dont want it to sound really bad or stupid (i.e. someone bought a shitty tip from walmart and it sounds like the car passes gas). I want a nice LOW rumble that gets louder the more gas u apply. What do you recommend? I was thinkin flow masters but since those are primarily for v8's i might wunna reconsider. Thanks for any answer.

my buddy has the 3.1 and got flowmaster delta flow 40's...sounds great...not like a honda or anything, but more like a muscle car without the obnoxious loud rumble...i would definatly get them...imho

Flowmasters. They'll give the deep rumble and be decent in higher rpms.

Go with the flows, they are known for that sound. whatever you do, dont get something that sounds like a bubble blower (cough cough rice burner cough cough)

If you want something cheaper, the only muffler I've seen come close to Flowmasters on the GPs is Dynomax.
