My brother and I are going to look at a GP, for him.
It is a '99 GT, with about 40,000 miles.
It's at a dealer, and we're unsure of if those are primarily highway or city miles. It's red and supposedly has pretty much every option, including HUD, moonroof, heated seats, black leather int, etc...
Price is at 9000 right now. Just lowered.
thanks,
bill

Mine hat 52k on it and I paid 10.6 for it. 9k sounds fair.

Herc, he said a 99 GT not GTP (or do you have a GT too?)

I just paid $6800 for my 99' GT with 87,000 on it, not every option. No HUD, no sunroof, no upgraded DIC. I have black leather and heated seat though. Really $6800 felt low for me, and I loved the car too much to pass it up.

I have a GTP and mine had alot more miles on it then the one he's looking at. Plus if it's at a dealer he'll probably walk away with it for 8.

That's sweet with all the options. Hopefully he can get it for under 8k.

I leased mine, and bought it when the lease was up. The dealer could of saved me money by letting it go wholesale and buying it back for me, but I could of lost it. I paid 13k and change for my 00' gt off lease in 2003 with 28K. I gor an extended warranty from API from the dealer and they are a pleasure to work with. I would would recommend it!

Zuul,

try to get someone who knows how to really haggle with the saleman. I think you can walk away under 8K. Ideally, 7,500K if you can make them an 'offer'.

Cars in USA are cheaper, a car like that here i think it would be around 10K usd.

Based on Kelly's blue book, 9k is just a couple hundred higher that what it should be for 40k and loaded.

I say negotiate to 1k less.
As far as mileage, that is probaly city. That low of miles is not necessary a great thing as more wear-tear comes from stop-go traffic.

WOW, I bought my 01 last October and payed 17,900 for it. But that is Canadian, would love to have found on for 10,000. After the exchange rate, it works out to be in the same ball park as 9000
