I had a friend with the same factory rims like T-BAT and he wanted to know what you used to spray them black with, and if it can be found at a local store like autozone, pep boys, etc.

I think he just used regular spray paint, maybe Duplicolor.

Damn you all! You know I can't resist something like this.....expect my current tri-stars to be gloss black in a week I figure its a cheap fix until I find the exact rims I want...I hate the way they look right now. Probably do the calipers while I am at it...

Caliper Kit
I am going with the gold, look how close it matches I'd suggest going to www.tirerack.com and buying G3 caliper paint. That stuff at Amazon is laquer, G2 is a polymer that works with a hardener. G2 is resistant to all kinds of chemicals, and the G2 cost about the same as that laquer stuff.

Prep is the most important part. You gott get everything REAL clean. Get at it with a wire brush. If you don't it'll start chipping off. If I remember I'll get a pic of mine, they're looking a bit like crap due to improper prep. I gotta do them over again.

Ok, I've seen duplicolor before in stores but does it has a clear coat in them or just regular black paint.

I bought 3 cans of gloss black and 2 of clear coat
My calipers are already really clean with factory paint still on them, plus i have a dremel tool with all the fixins, should be a piece of cake.
