I went to lunch in my co-workers 2003 monte SS. the ride is much smoother and of course the car seems much tighter. less squeaks and rattles than my 97 gtp. I have 100k miles while he has 40k. 5 less yrs abuse on the suspension I suppose. he is thinking of selling it. hmm, I wonder if i could talk him into swapping his seats for mine. how come chevy kept the "old" GP body style when pontiac redid the GP in 04?

You mean the Wbody? GM put the money into redoing the Impala. Would be my guess.
