Looks as expected. When can you put it on to see if it seals?

Welder probably have blower tomorrow. I called him and he said maybe later today, if not, definitely tuesday. It should seal, last one did. RTV FTMFW! Just gonna drive the vette around today!
Core still far from perfect, rushed it. Plus hard wood and using 35 year old router.

Was it not leaking causing a vac leak and messing up your fuel trims?

Well I'm going to give you a big thumbs up not that it looks perfect but you are now getting the whole idea behind hot-rodding,long before you could buy off the shelf performance parts guys were breaking ground designing parts from what they had available ,it is nice that we have well designed aftermarket parts we can just bolt on but there is a certain satisfaction in designing and building cheap working mods ,again good work and keep trying as you gain experience and money (for better tools) your projects will only get better.Chico(pops)

That is ingenuative! Take pride in your accomplishments, even if it doesnt work as expected. Benjamin Franklin said that he found 200 ways on how NOT to make a light bulb. Keep that in mind.
What made you decide on Red Oak? The density? The strength? How are you going to make sure the wood compresses enough to get a good torque? I read RTV and weight of the blower, but will that be enough? How about pressurizing the wood?

I may be wrong, but I don't think that was Franklin.

Well since the first one got destroyed being compressed without sleeves, and Corey bought the last two decent sized pieces of phenolic from a seller on ebay. I was at Lowes and was like I'm going try something else. Saw some Oak and grabbed it. I felt unsafe and didn't want to install the first one, its warped and crap. Rtv will do just fine, and the sleeves will help with torque.

He said normally $75 be charged me $60. He forgot the silencer ports, but I want my blower back said I didn't say anything. I think I'll just leave them the way they are. I got to smooth it up a little, but hopefully it will be on the car this afternoon, after I go to the beach!! Before (bad outlet job): After:

Get some metal epoxy / liquid weld and weld them up. That will work fine, sets in less than 10 minutes and cures in a few hours.
