As I was leaving the auto craft shop here on post, the fella said to "scuff them tires in before racing", is there a break-in for tires? I'm still not quite sure if he was messin with me.

If I remember right, new tires do have some sort of coating on them or something.

Not my area of expertise, so don't quote me.

i think he was refering to racing at the strip, when you drive around the water box you dry hop the tires to clean them off/scuff them
