I think that's you who have same problem about your red sd hood touch front bumper?

I finally solved the problem when my hood lip touch on my front bumper when I got it like 3 weeks ago.

All you need add washers under hood latch. It is close enough but at least they are not touch each other.

Thank to my dad great idea. Beer for him. cheers

Didn't Herc or someone mention something about the latch on one of your other threads?

No problem. I hope it should work out for you.

I will have spoiler today soon. They are in UPS delivery truck for deliver right now. Funny thing... Warped spoiler (return) is already delivery to Dallas spoiler company today. I will get SD wing today in same day. I ordered it on June 8th. UPS took darn too long. mad

I think he mentioned to lift the latch on bottom where bumper located is but it doesn't work out.

Is that missing paint or something on the right ridge coming down from the vent?

I think you are right. It is hard to tell at night but I saw that in day. I told them that you miss some spot like vent and some overspray. I told them that's worstest paint I ever seen. I'm serious, I did say that in front of him. All he says it is fresh paint and let it sit for 2 weeks and we will buff it out. I already buff it out but nothing work. I will deal it with them next week after car show done this weekend.

Now, I got SD spoiler arrived but I haven't seen it. My dad cover it for me since I'm working night shift. I pray it is fit than slp knockoff that I have warped one.

No worries.

Ohh you might want to make sure the rubber bumper stops in the corners are properly adjusted. You want the hood to just touch them so the hood doesn't shimmy up and down and you don't want it too tight to where it flexes the hood. Both cases could cause cracks to develop and we don't want that.

Thank for let me know about that. I forgot about that. I thought it is not good idea when rubber touch it that make black mark on paint. I guess that's normal as long it doesn't crack. I will have it check it out tonight.

You aren't going to keep the engine bay side of the hook spick and span, unless you don't drive it!

Now, they are touch so I'm good to go.

Also, I test fit my SD wing. It is great but I need paint new trunk lid because where old spoiler mark and paint is getting chip off. I hope body shop might finish it by Friday so I can take it on car show this Sunday. If they can't finish it by Friday then I will use stock spoiler this weekend. Then paint sd wing and trunk lid next week. I guess I have to wait and see what they say on Wednesday morning.
