Does any one know how to replace the bulbs in the steering wheel. Lights just went out on the way home from Denver Monday nite. But the funny thing is, it's the controls on the left side of the steering wheel that went out only. The right side still lights up. banghead

there is another thread somewhere on the site that shows how to replace the bulbs...its a bit of an involved process that requires soldering in the new bulb leads...but its a much cheaper alternative than replacing the module which is probably what the dealer will do...I dont know the cost of a module but I'm willing to bet its pricey.

Very pricey, if you can solder then you will save a lot of money i think they are only sold in sets not for sure but thats what i remember about a 96 formula

I soldered mine myself and it cost me $1.44. That was the cost of the bulbs.

Here's the link on how to do it. Feel free to ask if you don't get something.
