I have a 1998 GTP with about 55k miles and I'm looking to replace the tires. My car is stock and I'm not looking to make it into a road racer or anything, just looking for some tips on what tires I should look at. Should I just get a new set of Goodyears or are there other brands that are better? I live in Minnesota so tires with decent snow/ice handling would probably be good. Thanks in advance for any info.

Bridgestone RE 950 are great
BF Goodrich KDWS are OK

I have a friend who runs RE950's in the winter and Nitto 555's in the summer and he loves the ride of the Bridgestones.
