Tinted my tail lights today and I must say they look pretty nice!

Figured I'd post here since no one looks at the 04+ section.

On the car with camera flash

On the car without camera flash (and you can see some HID's :p )

All I used was 2k grit wet sanding, VHT Night Shades, and Clear Coat. Criticism is welcome smile

Thanks smile I think they came out really well for this being my first time. The only thing I don't like it when I did the first clear coat I noticed where it had raised up on the passenger light so I had to sand it back down (I'm a perfectionist lol). Which made it end up not coming out as glossy as I would have liked. But I'll probably end up working on it some more when I get time and you really can't notice unless I point it out.

They look good, however try some sanding of the clear coat. The light reflection off the clear that is currently on is fuzzy and doesn't offer a sharp reflection, and I kinda see some orange peel.

Alright I'll try that, thanks. And in person you cant see any orange peel. Might be the camera.

You uploaded for us fairly large images, where the flash is on the first image you can see the dots that represent the orange peel and I can really tell that those don't have a sharp reflection like they should.

I knolw that you can see the dots in the image but in person they don't exist lol. And like I said they do have a pretty good reflection in person. I blame the camera.
